Erika and I took the boys to one of the pumpkin patches on Sauvie’s Island over a week ago and they had a great market with lots of fruits and vegetables. We found that they had a great selection of gala apples. They looked and smelled great, so we took a chance and bought 16 pounds. We hadn’t made the gala apple liquer in many years and we are almost out. Last Sunday, we prepared and mixed them with the booze. Alcoholic apple sauce right now, but in due time…happiness.
